AGS Technology, Inc. proudly announces it is an authorized molder in Underwriters Laboratories Fabricated Parts Traceability Program. Fabricators that participate in this program demonstrate that they meet stringent UL requirements to provide transparency and traceability of materials used. Verifying that fabricated parts are manufactured from the materials requested and not modified in a way that affects their performance is key to reducing a manufacturer’s risk and increasing levels of confidence that materials being received meet sourcing requirements. George Staniulis, AGS Cofounder, said “This is the first step for AGS Technology as it allows us to mold parts from UL approved virgin resins for customers who require UL certification. We have started discussions with Underwriters Laboratories on finding how AGS can certify AGS’ Injectoblend™ recycled materials for these same demanding applications in the future.” AGS Technology sees a strong interest in flame resistant materials in the battery electric vehicle, electrical enclosures, and any part needing to have UL flammability approval.
