An office products company was looking for suppliers to help advance corporate sustainability and minority business support goals. At a regional minority business enterprise conference, their Purchasing group was introduced to AGS Technology.
AGS Injection Molding Solution
A review of the company’s product line identified an existing paper tray molded from virgin, high impact polystyrene as an excellent candidate for recycled material. The two cavity injection mold was outsourced to AGS Technology where it restarted production by substituting its Injectoblend™ FHIPS108. Not only did the company improve its economics, but also marketed and touted the recycled content and support of certified minority business to their major retail customers.
